PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment monitor system which has need of investigating numerical values of seals on a printed board of a communication adapter (controller) after disassembling it but makes its addresses visible at a glance to facilitate the management. SOLUTION: A controller 3 to be a communication adapter has six easily operable dip switches 10 on its printed board so that adapter addresses of 0 to 63 can be set by the switches 10 which are stored in a ROM 9 so as to be checked from any position on a RonWorks network. A building management side is enabled to judge and monitor the controller 3 corresponding to an indoor unit 4 from the adapter addresses of 0 to 63 in addition to a neuron ID or instead of the neuron ID, using a host computer 1.
