PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate various interferences owing to CO2 inevitably contained in hydrogen acquired in a hydrogen manufacturing system utilizing offgas and excess heat of a fuel cell. SOLUTION: This system used to manufacture hydrogen by passing offgas of a solid oxide type fuel cell through a CO converter is a high-purity hydrogen manufacturing system characterized in that the gas converted by the CO converter is passed through an absorbent layer to remove CO2 . A fuel cell system is characterized in that high-purity hydrogen obtained in the manufacturing system is used as a fuel for its fuel cell.
