METHOD FOR PRODUCING SLURRY OF HYDRATE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hydrate to adhere to a heat exchanger in producing a slurry of the hydrate. SOLUTION: To an aqueous solution of a guest compound for forming the slurry of the hydrate, a silicone coupling agent and a water insoluble organic compound having a lower coagulation temperature than that of the aqueous solution are added. Subsequently the aqueous solution is cooled during passing through the heat exchanger to produce the slurry of the hydrate.
