PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner capable of ensuring an excellent state of combustion and a high thermal efficiency. SOLUTION: A burner port 10 opening radially in the circumferential direction is provided obliquely upward on the lower side of the outer peripheral part of a molded body 6 of the burner port, and a straightening part 14 directing premixed gas upward is provided in the vicinity of a base part on the inner side of the burner port 10. By this constitution, the premixed gas is subjected to a diffusing and straightening action by the straightening part 14 so that it is directed upward, before it reaches the burner port 10, and the angle of an upward jet of a flame can be ensured in a large degree even when an upward slant angle of the burner port 10 is small. Thus, heat radiation toward the circumference is reduced and the high thermal efficiency can be ensured.
