The sealing system consists of an underground sealing wall (1) with sealing floor (3) connected to its foot (2), of high pressure injection bodies (4). The wall foot is of concrete and/or steel, and the wall section above the foot consists of a sealing material with a strength, which is lower than that of the foot. The foot is constructed from pre-fabricated concrete sections, steel reinforcements, and/or contractor concrete. The strength of the wall above the foot is for resistance to water pressure differentials only. Supporting sheet pile elements (5,6) are fitted into the wall. |
