FIELD: press-forging equipment, screw presses. SUBSTANCE: lever-screw press has slider mounted in guides, screw connected with slider, flywheel, power drive in the form of crank mechanism. Screw is articulated by non-self-braking thread with nut secured in bed. Slider is connected with connecting rod via toggle with slide block. One of mechanism levers is engageable through roller with spring-loaded knuckle installed on bed. Knuckle profile provides for acceleration, free motion and lifting of movable parts. Flywheel is connected with screw by means of controlled coupling. EFFECT: simplified design and system of press control, reduced power consumption and increased lever-screw press productivity. 1 dwg
