PURPOSE: A satellite broadcasting receiver according to satellite broadcasting information items is provided to simultaneously offer larger amount of satellite broadcasting information to a user and allow the user to change a channel rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A satellite broadcasting receiver includes a detector for detecting satellite broadcasting information corresponding to a predetermined item, an alignment unit for aligning the detected satellite broadcasting information, and a controller(240) for displaying the aligned satellite broadcasting information by items. When a user designates the first and second items and the first item has preference, the alignment unit aligns the detected satellite broadcasting information based on specific satellite broadcasting information corresponding to the first item.
