摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To provide method and apparatus in which bone vibration of an organism is measured and vibration which is caused by the pulse is extracted from the measured value, thereby enabling the pulse to be detected without limiting a part to measure. CONSTITUTION:A pulse detecting apparatus comprises: a vibration sensor 2 which senses vibration of a bone 11 of an organism by touching the surface of the organism, that is, skin 10 and converts the vibration to an electric vibration signal; an amplifying circuit 30 for amplifying the electric output of the vibration sensor 2; a hum noise eliminating circuit 31; and a discriminating circuit 4 for extracting a pulse waveform from the vibration signal. The vibration sensor 2 comprises a piezoelectric device and a resistance bridge which is connected to the piezoelectric device. The discriminating circuit 4 is constructed as an HPF or a BPF. The bone vibration of the organism is sensed by the vibration sensor 2, the pulse (heartbeat) waveform included in the bone vibration is extracted from the sensor signal by the discriminating circuit 4 and an output of the circuit 4 is processed, thereby detecting the pulse, excitement state of the organism, and the like.</p>
