PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system utilizing a seating sensor, capable of controlling the operation of each device loaded on an automobile with quick response. SOLUTION: A sheet-like seating sensor 5 is buried just under a surface skin 6 of a seating part 2 of a seat 1. The seating sensor 5 is a membrane switch formed by superposing a pair of flexible sheets through an insulating spacer, and the electric current flows by a switched-on contact part, and inputted to a current detecting circuit 7. The current detecting circuit 7 outputs a seating detection signal to a controller 8 on the basis of the current from the seating sensor 5. The controller 8 controls the operation of each device on the basis of the seating detection signal.
