PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound container whose thin inside container having an oval shape cross section can be mounted exchangeably in an outside container shaped identically. SOLUTION: This relates to a compound container whose inside container and outside container are combined freely detachably. The cross sections in the lengthwise direction and the widthwise direction of each container body part are shaped different. On the shoulder part of the inside container, an inclining face extending toward the peripheral side in the lengthwise direction is formed. The outside container is provided with a fitting/detaching operation piece for connecting the outside container with a case main body and the inclining face of the inside container. By pressing the piece inward, the piece is raised along the inclining face for moving the inside container and the outside container relatively and for separating the inside container from the outside container.
