PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent image quality from deteriorating due to reduction in the volume of coloring agent being ejected from a print head. SOLUTION: A movable filter 32 is disposed movably to any one of positions overlapping and not overlapping a fixed filter 31 disposed to divide the internal region of the housing 20 of an ink reservoir 12 equally into two. When a printer is not used for a long time, the movable filter 32 is moved to the position overlapping the fixed filter 31 where solid component included in the ink 2 being supplied to a print head 15 is reduced and solid component only of small diameter is supplied to the print head 15. The solid component is thereby prevented from staying in the print head 15. |
