METHOD OF REMOVING DIOXINS IN WASTE WATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a treated water, in which the content of dioxins is minimized by increasing the treatment efficiency of the waste water containing dioxins using activated carbon. SOLUTION: The waste water 51 containing dioxins is supplied to an activated carbon column 54 to remove the dissolved dioxins and suspended substance having a relatively large diameter and the suspended substance having a relatively small diameter is removed by a microfilter 55. The load of the microfilter 55 is reduced because a part of the suspended substance is removed in the activated carbon column and the filtration efficiency is increased because the particle diameter of the suspended substance to be removed is uniform.
