摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron-beam curing type coating material for optical fiber which comprises an electron-beam curing type resin composition containing a compound having a nitrogen atom and a sulfur atom in one molecule. SOLUTION: The electron-beam curing type coating material for optical fiber has a sufficiently high electron-beam curing property as a coating material for optical fiber. Thus, the gel content and Young's modulus thereof have a low dependency on absorption dosage and is sufficiently capable of coping with the high-speed drawing of an optical fiber. By electron-curing of the coated material under specified conditions, the transmission loss in the optical fiber is not influenced and an enough cure degree is obtained and stable characteristics are obtained as well.
