PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor device, which has high efficiency, is small in size, is low in manufacturing cost, and can control the shaft position of its rotor. SOLUTION: Stator windings 4A-4I are divided into three sets of stator winding groups, which are respectively star-connected and have respective independent neutrals N1, N2, and N3. By controlling voltages or currents of the neutrals, an unbalance flux distribution in the stator is produced, to generate a force applied in radial directions of a rotor. Since the stator windings 4A-4I have both functions for generating a rotating force and position control and a stator 3 is constructed by a concentrated winding method, using divided cores, the construction can be made simple and the space factor of the winding can be made high, a motor small in size high in efficiency and low in cost, capable of controlling the position of its shaft can be obtained. |
