PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for electric rolling stock, which enables the electric rolling stock to be braked properly, even in the case of a decrease in voltage of a feeder section of the electric rolling stock. SOLUTION: A contactor control part 13 brings a contactor 3 into an off- state, when a line voltage of an electric motor 8 is decreased during braking operations in a voltage-fixing mode in a high-speed range of the electric motor 8, and brings the contactor 3 into an on-state, when the voltage fixing mode is released. Consequently, the line voltage of the electric motor 8 is increased, while the contactor 3 is kept in the off-state, so as to enable electric braking force to be secured than ever, without increasing the electric current of the electric motor 8. |
