A machine for automatic cleaning and cassetting of long- line hooks, directly after the fish have been removed from them, has a line wheel 21 which reels in the line 13, together with its snells 14 and thereto attached hooks, through the cleaning devices 16 in which the hooks are brushed and sprayed with water, and through a hook- sorting equipment 18, 19 which removes defective hooks. The defect-free hooks are guided along a course and drawn into cassettes 22, while at the same time the line 13 is reeled in by the line wheel 21 and brought into a container 23 on the walls of which the cassettes 22 are attached. <IMAGE> |
