PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dubbing device that lessens manual operation when finalizing, and its finalizing method. SOLUTION: This dubbing device has a normal completion check means 21 to check whether or not dubbing of all the specified tracks ended and a finalizing means 23 to finalize the above recordable disk at the end of dubbing. When dubbing from a CD to a CD-R, and dubbing the information recorded on all the tracks of the CD on a recordable blank disk, the above finalizing means 23 automatically finalizes the recorded CD-R when the above normal completion check means 21 decides that the information on all the tracks are normally recorded.
