PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain gutter supporting tool capable of practicing a longitudinal rotary operation of a longitudinal rotary lock lever even from either upward or downward. SOLUTION: This gutter supporting tool comprises a mounting rod 1 in which a pair of supporting piece parts 12 providing guide holes 11 for allowing a connecting shaft 4 to penetrate in frontward both sides are extended downward and a stopper piece 13 is elected on a frontward upper side, a gutter supporting tool body 2 which is fitted and inserted in between the pair of supporting piece parts 12, a longitudinal rotary lock lever 3 which is opened downward and has a roughly U shape and in which shaft holes 32 for allowing the connecting shaft 4 to penetrate are formed in a pair of both side piece parts 31 and a locking part 33 capable of being locked on or released from a stopper piece 13 of the mounting rod 1 is formed inside of the upper face, and the connecting shaft 4 which allows to penetrate into the shaft holes 32 of the longitudinal rotary lock lever 3 and the guide holes 11 of the gutter supporting tool body 2. When the longitudinal rotary lock lever 3 is longitudinally rotated at a locked position, the locking part 33 of the longitudinal rotary lock lever 3 is mounted onto the stopper piece 13 of the mounting rod 1 to lift up the connecting shaft 4, and the gutter supporting tool body 2 is brought into press fitting to the mounting rod 1 and fixed thereto by this connecting shaft 4.
