LASER MARKING FOR COATED SUBSTRATE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for marking a coated substrate by using a laser energy. SOLUTION: The coating of the substrate is dried in a temperature lower than the one required for permanently sticking the coating to the substrate before the coated substrate is exposed to the laser energy. The dried coating is selectively removed with the laser energy in a detailed pattern which can rapidly be varied in a broad range. The method for marking the coated substrate by using the laser energy can be incorporated into a time-critical production process, as a constituting element.
