PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for context-oriented computing. SOLUTION: A device and a method for context-oriented computing (for example, a position oriented), which enable a system to apply and implement various policies in response to contexts are provided, and the various computing devices can automatically define the contexts. A policy set obtained after evaluating a policy group by context determination can be provided and these policies are applied to the given contexts. The obtained policy set is usually implemented through an operating system. It is feasible that the policy implementation issues a new setting a status for an application executed on the device or on an element away from the device. The implementation can make the obtained policy set to adapt to changes of the device contexts, dynamically decides the policy in accordance with the changes of the device contexts, and automatically executes it. |
