<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite cable composed of an electric wire and an information communication wire such as a plastic optical fiber cable, where a process of connector-attachment which includes troublesome terminal treatments such as stripping at a wiring site is eliminated to reduce time required for operation and to simplify working labor, and thus to reduce the material cost and to avoid dispersion of quality due to differences in technical skills. SOLUTION: The composite cable is a flat cable consisting of an electric wire 20 and an information communication wire 30 united together by covering with an outermost sheath layer. When the cable is shipped out, the cable is mounted by an electric/optic wire composite connector 12 at one end of the cable, and at the other end of the cable, the electric wire 20 and the information communication wire 30 with estimated excess lengths are branched. The end of the branched electric wire 20 is mounted by a connector 14 and, the terminal of the information communication wire 30 is mounted by an optical connector 15. Therefore, at a site of wiring, a plurality of sets of the composite cables can be connected by attaching the corresponding connectors along a wiring route, if it is necessary.</p> |
