PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an operation for setting another facility as an alternative destination when it is difficult to use a prescribed facility and to make easily determinable whether or not to change the destination. SOLUTION: This peripheral facility information providing device is provided with a present point detecting means detecting a present point, a map data acquisition means 91 acquiring map data, an operation means,a destination set means 92 setting destination, a route search means 93 searching a route to the destination, a destination changing condition formation determining means 94 determining whether or not destination change conditions for changing the destination are formed, a peripheral facility search means searching either one of peripheral facilities in the present point or the destination, when the destination change conditions are formed, and a peripheral facility information notification means 96 notifying a driver the peripheral facility information. When it is difficult to use the institution in the destination, the peripheral facility is searched and information of the peripheral facility is displayed. |
