PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the area occupied by an icon on a map screen, and enable a driver to acquire sufficiently necessary information from the map screen. SOLUTION: This device has an information acquisition processing means 91 for acquiring search information and crossing information, a route search processing means 92 for searching a route based on the search information, a display means, a search route display processing means 93 for displaying the search route on the map screen, and a lane information display processing means 94 for displaying the icon based on the crossing information. The lane information display processing means 94 is equipped with a direction indicator mark plotting processing means 95 for plotting on the icon a reference direction indicator mark and a simplified direction indicator mark on a prescribed lane in order to display the vehicle regulation direction. Since the simplified direction indicator mark is plotted on the icon, the size of the icon can be reduced. |
