A coil of a dynamoelectric machine is constituted by forming a conductor (22) that is the coiled aggregate of flat strands (21) under Rebel dislocation, by winding layers of a mica tape (71), consisting of mica paper (5) and reinforced glass cloth (6), around the outer periphery of the conductor (22), and by impregnating the wound layers of the mica tape (71) with a resin and curing it. An inorganic powder (14) is carried by the reinforced glass cloth (6) of the mica tape (71) with an adhesive (13) which contains a size insoluble to the impregnating resin as an essential component.
