The invention relates to an adjusting drive for adjusting pivotal flaps that is equipped with a housing inside of which a drive motor is mounted, whereby the drive motor is connected, using drive technology, to a drive train that reduces the motor speed. The aim of the invention is to provide an adjusting drive of the aforementioned type that, with a compact design provided with a housing having minimal dimensions, enables the drive unit to be easily mounted as well as permits parts to be exchanged in the simplest manner whereby ensuring a high operational reliability. To these ends, the invention provides that the gears (13, 14, 15, 16), which are engaged with one another, of the gear chain are mounted on a drive support (10). In addition, the drive motor (11) is flange-mounted on the drive support (10). The drive element of the drive train is a toothed segment (16) that is coupled to a hollow shaft (17) in a rotationally fixed manner. The inventive adjusting drive can be used, in particular, as an adjusting drive for flaps utilized in heating, air-conditioning and ventilation engineering. |
