The device has a tubular housing (1), at least one bearing plate (2) and a brush bearer plate (3) permanently fixed to the bearing plate, both with coaxial passages. Contact elements (4) on the brush bearer plate protrude into the passage and are electrically connected to motor brushes. A plug element (5) is inserted into the passages and has contact clamps (6) and supports (7) that interact with contact surfaces (8) on the plate so that the plug element sits fixed in the passages from the outside of the housing and the contact clamps are electrically connected to the contact elements.
