PURPOSE: A method for estimation of load of air-conditioning system is provided to save energy and keep a room pleasant. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of: a first step setting time range considering time of occupation of a room; a second step estimating system parameters by measuring outdoor air temperature and air-conditioning load in real time for time set in the first step; a third step determining whether the time of occupation of the room in the first step has passed; a fourth step estimating outdoor air temperature of the next day hourly using forecasted maximum temperature and minimum temperature of the outdoor air when the time of occupation of the room is determined to have passed in the third step; and a fifth step estimating hourly load of the next day using the estimated outdoor air temperature and the system parameters.
