PURPOSE: An airbag suppression system sensor, a system for performance factor determination and for performance level test, and a test method of an airbag suppression system are provided to test a DPS(Dynamic Proximity Suppression) sensor not needing a flexible precise system and vehicle-sliding test equipment. CONSTITUTION: A testing system for determining a performance factor of an airbag suppression system sensor monitoring movement of a vehicle passenger into a suppression zone comprises an occupant model(107); a positioning system(114) causing controlled movement of the occupant model into the suppression zone; a proximity detector(111) detecting a parameter indicative of movement of the occupant model and generating a first output signal in response thereto; and a controller determining the suppression system sensor performance factor based on the first output signal and a second output signal. The second output signal is generated by the suppression system sensor in response to the occupant model moving into the suppression zone.
