PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can be simplified and miniaturized by reducing the number of necessary power sources without deteriorating obtained image quality. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a circularly moving transfer belt 1, a plurality of image carriers 2 which are arranged along the belt 1 in parallel and on which a color component image is formed respectively, and a plurality of transfer members 3 opposed to the respective image carriers 2 and arranged in contact with the back surface of the belt 1, and the color component images formed on the respective image carriers 2 are successively superposed and transferred on the belt 1 by transfer bias applied to the respective corresponding members 3. In the device, transfer power sources 4 whose number of pieces is smaller than that of the members 3 are used as a power source for applying the transfer bias, and also the members 3 to which load resistances 5 larger than the system resistance of a transfer part are respectively connected in series are connected to the output end of the transfer power source 4 in parallel. |
