摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical disk device in which the intensity of a magnetic field can be adjusted to intensity of a magnetic field for accurately recording a signal in a magneto-optical recording medium, according to the tilt quantity, when tilt is produced in the magneto-optical recording medium. SOLUTION: A tilt-detecting circuit 113 detects tilt occurring in a magneto- optical recording medium 10, based on a tilt mark signal CHM detected from the magneto-optical recording medium 10 by an optical head 101, and outputs a tilt detecting signal CHDT to a control circuit 114. When the control circuit 114 receives the detecting signal CHDT, the strength of the magnetic field is varied, and the signal is recorded in the magneto-optical recording medium 10. The control circuit 114 decides on the strength of a magnetic field, in which the error rate of a reproduced signal received from a decoder 112 is saturated as the suitable strength, and sets the strength of the magnetic field to the suitable strength decided.
