PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive tape applying device capable of applying the next adhesive tape adjacently in series without interfering with an attached adhesive tape. SOLUTION: This adhesive tape applying device for applying an adhesive tape 3 to a substrate 1 comprises a supply side roller 6 for guiding the adhesive tape 3, a winding side roller 9, and a pressurizing means 5 for pressing the adhesive tape 3 to the substrate 1. In pressing the adhesive tape 3 to the substrate 1 with the pressurizing means 5, the supply side roller 6 is positioned spaced from the substrate 1 with respect to the winding side roller 9, and the adhesive tape 3 between the supply side roller 6 and the pressurizing means 5 is separated from the substrate 1. Thus, in an applying process of the adhesive tape, the adhesive tape during the adhesion can be prevented from interfering with the adhesive tape after the adhesion.
