Photocopier with variable magnification

The copy drive and document drive are linked to a control which selects the magnification and adjusts the optics accordingly. If a small size copy is required, the original document feed is inhibited until the copy has been moved over the margin, equally spaced on opposite sides of the copy sheet. - The control enables acceptable small copies to be produced by strip scanning and with single sheet copy feed. The different magnifications are controlled by adjustable optics on a revolver head, linked to a servo motor and to the control. PS
