PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dwelling unit basic structure in an apartment house, which guarantees privacy by PP separation. SOLUTION: According to the dwelling unit (1) basic structure in the apartment house, an entrance (4) is arranged along a corridor (2) in the vicinity of a separation wall (3) on one side of the dwelling unit (1), and a common-use pipe space (6) is arranged in the vicinity of a separation wall (5) on the other side of the dwelling unit (1). Then, a bathroom (7), a wash room (8), and a toilet (9) are arranged along the other-side separation wall (5) in this order from the side of the common-use pipe space. Further, a common-use opening (20) for common piping is formed in a floor of the common-use pipe space.
