The lifting gear comprises supporting cables (5,7) which are guided over redirecting elements to their fixing positions (4a). The redirecting elements are arranged underneath the cable drum (3). The outside supporting cables diverge from their cable drum initial point upto redirecting element and run towards each other to the fixing positions. A displacing unit longitudinally moves the cable drum synchronously for winding and unwinding the supporting cable.
