PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which has good lathering and foam properties and gives no feelings of stretching and squeaking on the rinsing as well as no feelings of sticking and stiffening even in a continuous use during a long period. SOLUTION: The detergent composition contains (A) a poly(oxyethylene) poly(oxypropylene) glycerin ester of a fatty acid and (B) one or more kinds of compounds selected from the group consisting of a siloxane compound, a cationic polymer and a peptide derivative.
