POLYOL-IN-OIL DROPLET TYPE COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING L-ASCORBIC ACID AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE: A process of preparing polyol-in-oil cosmetic composition by dispersing L-ascorbic acid in polyol followed by silicon oil to stabilize unstable L-ascorbic acid is provided. Whereby, the composition can be preserved for a long period of time and is prevented in shine and stickiness. CONSTITUTION: Crystalline L-ascorbic acid having a size of 45 micron or less is dispersed in polyol to produce L-ascorbic acid colloid and then fine particle powder having an amphipathic surface structure is dispersed therein to produce a first dispersion, which is poured in silicon oil and heated at 45deg.C while agitating to produce a second dispersion, followed by being cooled to room temperature and left alone for 1 day to cause the amphipathic fine particle to be coagulated on the surface of the polyol droplet.
