PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a forming member for forming a guide ring in a gas turbine such that the forming member is manufactured at particularly low cost on one hand and is particularly effectively cooled by means of steam as a coolant on the other hand. SOLUTION: The forming member 30 is provided with a base plate 34, the base plate 34 forms a passage 36 for the coolant together with guide plates 38, 44 and 52 attached to the base plate 34, and a cross-section of the passage 36 extends over an entire width of the base plate 30 with respect to an axial direction x in the guide rings 20 and 21.
