DISPLAY DEVICE AND DISPLAY METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a display technique of a sub-pixel accuracy capable of adaptable to color display. CONSTITUTION: Color sub-pixel display is performed by a display device having three kinds of light emitting elements in a matrix form for emitting RGB three primaries each. Color information of pixel accuracy are separated into brightness data of pixel accuracy and chromaticity data of pixel accuracy. Sub-pixel accurate brightness data are generated from the brightness data of pixel accuracy. The color information of sub-pixel accuracy is synthesized by using the brightness data of sub-pixel accuracy and the chromaticity data of pixel accuracy.
