PURPOSE: A method for cutting steel fiber for concrete is provided to cut a cutting portion neatly when finally bending and cutting steel wire for steel fiber using a circular blade in the manufacturing process of steel fiber used to improve physical properties of concrete. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing steel fiber by rotating a circular blade(4) consisting of small and large bending grooves(11) and support blades(12) and a circular blade(3) consisting of small and large bending protrusions(13) having the same shape as the bending grooves(11) and cutting blades(14) so that the circular blade(4) is engaged with the circular blade(3), the method for cutting steel fiber for concrete is characterized in that large bending protrusions (L) and large bending grooves (L) among the small and large bending protrusions(13) and small and large bending grooves(11) composing the circular blades(3,4) are first engaged with each other while small bending protrusions (S) and small bending grooves (S) among the small and large bending protrusions(13) and small and large bending grooves(11) composing the circular blades(3,4) are later engaged with each other so that steel fiber is manufactured as the circular blades(3,4) are being rotated.
