PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a metal can and structure of the metal can enabling the stacking of empty cans are provided to considerably reduce a cost of transportation by virtue of the multiple layered stacking of the empty cans, and to enable an automated high speed production of the metal cans by facilitating a separating work of the empty cans. CONSTITUTION: In the manufacturing method of the metal container having a cup shaped body(1) of trapezoid structure that an upper part is wider than a lower part, a plurality of the cup shaped bodies are separably stacked into multiple layers while keeping a certain gab between them. In addition, a separate convex cap(10) including a stopper(30) and an opening(11) is assembled to the center position of the body upper part.
