SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIA FOR OFFERING INFORMATION ON ASSESSMENT OF BUILDING ENVIRONMENT OVER INTERNET

PURPOSE: A building environment assessment information offering system, method and computer readable media is provided to enable a user to receive general environment assessment information or weighted environment assessment information on a selected building from a specialized institute. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises an integrated data processor(202), a web server(204), a weight calculator(200), a building assessment index database(212) and an assessment report database(214). The integrated data processor(202) receives environment indexes on buildings from a building assessment institute, and stores the received environment indexes on buildings at the building assessment index database(212). If a user inputs weight factors, the integrated data processor(202) calculates a rate for each category, which a building belongs to, and generates a new environment index by multiplying the weight factors to the environment indexes offered by the building assessment institute. The web server(204) interfaces a data transmission among user terminals, the building assessment institute and a building construction company over the internet. The weight calculator(200) calculates a weighted environment index for each category by referring to the weight factors, input by the user, and the rates, offered by the building assessment institute, and offers a graphical weighted environment index. The building assessment index database(212) stores environment indexes for each category, for example, a residence environment, a life environment, an energy and resource, a traffic or an education. The assessment report database(214) stores expert assessment reports, made by specialized experts, on rates or scores on the assessed building environment.
