PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a disposable diaper so as to be capable of perceiving the discharge of urine from the outside of the worn disposable diaper. SOLUTION: The disposable diaper 1 has a liquid permeable surface sheet 2, a liquid impermeable back surface sheet 3 and the body fluid absorbing material 4 interposed between both sheets 2 and 3. The absorbing material 4 has the panel part 21 being in contact with the surface sheet 2 and the strip- like part 22 between the panel part 21 and the back surface sheet 3. The strip- like part 22 is formed by covering a body fluid absorbable material containing 20-100 wt.% of highly absorbable polymer particles 26 with a stretchable liquid permeable sheet 27.
