PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic drive circuit which enables adjustment of drive pulses to arbitrary waveforms and arbitrary number of waves for driving ultrasonic vibrators in broad bands. SOLUTION: A delay data generation part 16 transmits delay data to a plurality of P.A. delay lines 14 by a timing signal from a timing controller 17 and after the degree of delays is set with the individual P.A. delay lines 14, transmission pulses generated at a pulse generation part 12 are inputted into the plurality of P.A. delay lines 14 via a pulse distribution part 13 and output pulses thereof are synthesized at a pulse synthesizing part 15 while being inputted into the timing controller 17. The timing controller 17 performs settings of the delay data with the delay data generation part 16 thereafter from the output pulses and adjustments of timings for the generation of the transmission pulses with the pulse generation part 12 after the setting of the delay data thereby enabling the generation of the drive pulses with the arbitrary waveforms and arbitrary number of waves.
