PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing printing in which printing data set so that a designated desired logic page is printed at a predetermined position of a recording medium is generated and outputted even when a printer without a specific control means is used in the case of N up printing, and an information processing apparatus applying the method. SOLUTION: Based on each designation value designated by a layout designation part 14, a layout change part 16 instructs a layout change to insert blank logic pages to corresponding positions so that each logic page is printed at the designated position of a recording paper on the basis of a number of the designated logic page and a page configuration of document data when the logic page to be printed at a fed page position is designated at the N up printing time. Moreover, a printing data formation part 18 forms printing data by PDL based on the document data in accordance with the instruction of the layout change and transmits the data to the printer 22 via a data transmission part 20. |
