A combined charging and relief valve has a check valve 46<SP>1</SP> located within a tubular member 22 threaded at 18 into housing 13. Following removal of cap 45, gas can flow through valve 46<SP>1</SP>, member 22 and a tubular piston 28 to a port 15 leading to a tank 41. Piston 28 is biased on to relief seat 33 and is unseated by excess tank pressure to connect port 15 to exhaust port 37 via grooves 36. Biasing spring 34 is adjustable by rotation of member 22 using flats 50 thereon.</p> |
