PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of faulty cleaning by removing deposits adhering to the edge (the abutting part of a photoreceptor) of a cleaning blade. SOLUTION: When an image is not formed, the cleaning blade is made to contact with/separate from a photoreceptor and made to abut on a cleaning blade edge cleaning means, and also the blade is reciprocated to clean a blade edge part. |
