PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell holder which can surely prevent misinsertion of a button-type cell. SOLUTION: A cell-storing part 4 to store a button-type cell 21 is formed with a bottom board part 2 and a peripheral wall part 3, a contacting part 10 for contacting a head surface 21a of the button type cell 21 is formed at an upper end part of the peripheral wall part 3, a part of the upper end part of the peripheral part 3 are made extending as a control part 9, to contact a small-diameter part 22 of the button cell 21, and a regulation part 8 contacting peripheral surface 21b of the button-type cell 21 is provided in the cell storing part 4.
