摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a gradation-inverted phenomenon in a sub-field driving type liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: Switching ON or OFF of a sub-field is determined by gradation data SD0-SD3. At high temperatures, a decoder 312 outputs the inputted gradation data D0-D3 as the gradation data SD0-SD3 as they are, but at low temperatures, it thins out gradations accompanied by the gradation-inverted phenomenon (corrects fore and aft gradations) and outputs them as the gradation data SD0-SD3.
