<p>A method of extracting and purifying recombinant proteins (44) from transgenic plant matter (11) is disclosed. Fractioning of juice (14) that has been extracted from the plant matter (11) is obtained by using a multiple stage filtering process that uses multiple stages of decreasing porosity (17, 19, 21) followed by preferably membrane type filters (25, 28, 32), ion exchange (36), membrane adsorber, and chromatographic processes.</p> |
