System for determining vehicle cornering dynamics comprises a force sensor device (10) for a wheel (12) that records at least one wheel parameter for the wheel during cornering and transmits a representative signal to an evaluation device (14) that processes the signal. The sensor device is a wheel force sensor that determines a wheel force component of the wheel acting between the driving surface and the wheel contact surface. The sensor arrangement can be a tire sensor arrangement or a wheel bearing sensor. Optimally all wheels are equipped with such sensor arrangements Independent claims are made for a vehicle control system with a system for determining vehicle cornering dynamics.
